The stage is lit and our fellow cast members are dressed and ready. A final swarm of people rush through the door and fill the last few empty seats. Fear begins to over take me, and I start asking myself questions of doubt. "Is this what I have worked so hard for? To choke on stage? To freeze and go pale?" While interrogating myself, I look around and your familiar face, standing before me, reminds me of what I could have had. Just next to you is a tall scrawny man. A crowd sits just feet away from the skinny black figure with a fist sized head. The anticipation of the crowd causes my stomach to grow weak and my knees to rattle together. As I stand there in the dark and silence, I fight to keep my composure. Struggling I creep down to the microphone. It is just twenty feet away, but it looks like miles. With each step the amount of people watching seems to multiply. Now, while I am intensely shaking and wobbling closer, a light beams down on me. Like a prisoner caught trying to escape, I freeze
